est. 1966
Situated in the same premises since day one, Salon 66 was first opened by Mario Fantine in 1966. Mario left a small town near Rome in Italy called Tino, his vision was to bring a little piece of Italy with him to the north east of England settling in Newcastle.
Itailan hairdressing then became instrumental in changing the face of hairdressing at the time with stylish cuts and fresh new ideas.

Fourty Six years on Salon 66 is still going strong with a small but dedicated staff, many of which have been working alongside Mario for decades.
​
Although we have a regular clientel we welcome newcomers to try out our services and our friendly and helpful staff will help advise you whenever possible.
